Premier Overview

Your Dell Premier Webpage provides your organization with a customized, secure online toolset for purchasing, reporting and product support. This is all backed by a dedicated account team that can adjust settings, and add or remove features and options that fit your organization. Your dedicated account team are the only authorized users that can make changes to your organization's Dell Premier Webpage settings and features. These include but are not limited to: adding and removing users, adding Dell Customer Number Billing details, adding/removing the ability to allow user’s access to Add/Remove/Edit shipping addresses, setting up Premier Reporting, and controlling the price of your catalogs.

This article provides instructions on how to place an order from your Shopping Cart. Placing orders through Premier ensures order accuracy, which saves your organization time and money.

Your Dell Premier experience is changing. We have redesigned Premier focusing on intuitive and streamlined purchasing.

Experience the new Shopping Cart in Premier:
- Improved navigation back to Homepage and Shop pages
- Better visibility to Tax and Shipping within Cart Summary
- (+/-) buttons to quickly adapt your quantity
- Easily adjustable configuration detail view
- Enhanced Print view.

Placing an order from within your Shopping Cart

1. Add an item or multiple items to your Cart. (Figure 1: Adding a product to Cart)
2. Verify the quantity of each item selected. The quantity update box allows you to use stepper (+/-) buttons or type in the desired number to change quantity. The price will be adjusted automatically.

3. You can easily view a complete description of your products by clicking "Show full spec" or "Show all specs".
​​​​​​4. Easily calculate the estimated Tax and Shipping by selecting the desired shipping method and your postal code.
5. The 'Continue shopping" button allows easy navigation back to Premier Homepage and Shop pages.
6. The enhanced "Print" view enables you to print an easy to read hard copy of your cart with improved print layout
7. For placing your order, click on the green "Checkout" button. This will take you to the secure Checkout screen.

Proceeding to Checkout

Intuitive and streamlined purchasing:
- Single page checkout experience
- Intuitive address search
- Improved validation ensuring accurate information

The single page checkout experience allows you to complete your order quickly. (Figure 2: Placing your oder)

1. Within the "Order Contact" section, input the required information.
2. Complete the required Billing and Shipping information. Select an already pre-populated billing address or add a new address. The Search field allows for easy and intuitive address search.

(Please note: Channel partners with end users or Value Added Resellers may be asked to make an additional selection)
3. Select your delivery method.
4. Select your payment method using the drop down menu. Fill out the necessary information.
5. Select 'Continue Securely"

6. Within the "Review" screen, check the order information and make any necessary changes by clicking on the Change link. (Figure 3: Reviewing and submitting your order)
7. Click the green "Order and Confirm Payment" button to send the order to Dell.

8. Within the Thank You screen, you will see a thank you message along with your Dell Purchase ID number confirming that the order has been submitted.

Tracking your order

You will receive several order confirmation e-mails updating you on order status:
  • Order Acknowledgement email notifying you that the order has been received by Dell.
  • Order Confirmation email which includes Dell order number, DPID number, confirmation of the final purchase price and projected ship date.
  • Ship Notification email with detailed shipping information and confirmation that the order has shipped.
