    What do I do if Office 2010 Is not Installed and I Have Purchased an Upgrade?

    • Dell ships most home computers from the factory with a basic version of Office 2010 named Starter, which can then be upgraded using the Microsoft Product Information (MPI) card enclosed in the packaging. It is possible that the computer will not have Office 2010 Starter installed even though you have purchased an Office 2010 upgrade. In this case, it will be necessary to download and install Office 2010 using the Product Key on the MPI card.

    • Go to Microsoft Office and click the Download link at the bottom of the page. Enter your Product Key information as found on your MPI card and complete the form as indicated.
