This article discusses an issue that occured with Dell Support Center between August 6th and August 17th, 2011
The Dell Support Center application behaved erratically and presented users with a "Dell Support Center has stopped working" error message during regular use of the computer. This behavior occurred between the approximate dates of August 6th, 2011 and August 17th, 2011.
Dell has applied an automatic update to the Dell Support Center application that should resolve this issue.
If you are still experiencing this issue with Dell Support Center, be sure that your computer is connected to the internet. Dell Support Center should automatically apply the automatic update.

If this does not update the program correctly, you will need to reopen the command prompt as shown in the steps above and type delete C:\Program Files\Dell Support Center\resource.db-journal.
