Search for the latest version of the Dell OpenManage Array Manager under Systems Management for your system. For more information about searching for and downloading files from Dell, click the Help link on the Downloads page.
If prompted with an Export Compliance Disclaimer, read the disclaimer, and then click Yes, I Accept this Agreement.
When the File Download window appears, click to select Save this program to disk and then click OK.
Select a location that is convenient to download the file to and click OK.
Using an unzipping utility, unzip the contents of the downloaded file to C:\DOMA3.
Dell OpenManage Array Manager 3.0 Installation
Click the Start button, click Run, and then type in the Open box c:\doma3\setup\setup. Click OK.
Click Next to continue.
Read the License Agreement and click Yes to continue.
Select the type of install that you would like, and then click Next to continue.
If you have Windows 2000, a Warning window appears and explains that Array Manager will replace the default Disk Management utility installed by Windows 2000 (Figure 1).

Click OK if you receive this warning window. AnInformation window appears and provides information on the Dell PowerEdge RAID Controller (PERC) firmware.
Click OK to continue. The System Requirements window appears (Figure 2).

This window allows you to verify that the system meets the installation requirements. Click Next to continue.
If you would like to change the default installation location, click Browse and select a different location. Otherwise, click Next to continue. The Setup Status window appears as files copy to the hard drive.
If SNMP is not installed, you will receive a warning. Click OK to continue. SNMP is not an installation requirement; it is used for SNMP traps. For further information on SNMP and DOMA, refer to the Array Manager Help file.
Click Finish to restart the computer. If your system is running Windows 2000, upon reboot the Dell OpenManage Array Manager window appears.
Click OK to continue. The installation is complete.
