To download the Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit network driver, perform the following steps:

  1. Click the file name below to download the patch:
NOTENOTE:By downloading, you accept the terms of the Dell Software License Agreement.
  1. Click the Save button.
    The Save As: window appears.
  2. Verify that the R87461.EXE file name is listed in the File name: box and then click the Save button.
    The File saved window appears.
  3. Click the OK button.

Install the Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Network Driver

To install the Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit network driver, perform the following steps:

  1. Close all open programs.

  2. Double-click the R87461.EXE icon on your Desktop.

  3. When the Network:Broadcom 570x Gigabit Integrated Controller Package window appears, click the Continue button.

  4. When the Select the folder where you want to unzip the files to window appears, verify the location listed is C:\Dell\Drivers\R87461\.

  5. Click the OK button.

  6. When the Folder'C:\Dell\Drivers\R87461' does not exist. Do you want to create it? window appears, click the Yes button.

  7. When the All files were successfully unzipped window appears, click the OK button.

  8. When the Welcome to the Broadcom Driver Installer setup application window appears, click the Next button.

  9. When the License Agreement window appears, read the License Agreement.

  10. If you agree to the terms outlined in the License Agreement, click the Yes button.

  11. When the Setup Complete window appears, click the Finish button.
