In some environments, an administrator may want to allow Dell Threat Defense or Dell Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise to run concurrently with another anti-virus or anti-spyware application that the Windows Security Center manages. This article gives various options on how to unregister the Dell products from the Windows Security Center (WSC).

Resolution
Before unregistering Dell Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise or Dell Threat Defense, exclusions must be made to ensure full functionality between Dell’s Advanced Threat Prevention solutions and Windows Defender.
The following Memory Exclusions are recommended:
\program files\windows defender advanced threat protection\mssense.exe \program files\windows defender\nissrv.exe \program files\windows defender\msmpeng.exe
These exclusions are recommended for Execution Control:

To immediately unregister Threat Defense from the Windows Security center, run this command:
"C:\Program Files\Cylance\Desktop\Cylancesvc.exe" /unregister
To immediately register Threat Defense to the Windows Security Center, run this command:
"C:\Program Files\Cylance\Desktop\Cylancesvc.exe" /register /enable
To immediately unregister Dell Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise from the Windows Security Center, run this command:
"C:\Program Files\Dell\Dell Data Protection\Advanced Threat Prevention\Cylancesvc.exe" /unregister
To immediately register Dell Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise to the Windows Security Center, run this command:
"C:\Program Files\Dell\Dell Data Protection\Advanced Threat Prevention\Cylancesvc.exe" /register /enable
