Dell SupportAssist for servers, storage and networking is a proactive, predictive, and automated support technology to enable faster resolution and reporting. SupportAssist includes remote monitoring, automated collection of system state information, automatic case creation and proactive contact from Dell technical support.

SupportAssist is available with leading management consoles – OpenManage Essentials (OME) , Microsoft System Center Operations manager (SCOM), EqualLogic SAN Headquarters (SAN HQ) and Enterprise Manager Client with Storage Center OS (SCOS) – and without a management console for servers. Dell’s robust and easy-to-use support technology helps resolve issues up to 90% faster - reducing downtime, improving productivity and letting you get back to critical business.

Available features vary depending on the Dell service level purchased for your system. Customers with ProSupport Plus take advantage of the full set of SupportAssist features, including predictive issue detection and monthly optimization reporting. SupportAssist is available to all customers at no additional charge.

Eligibility: For Dell EqualLogic SAN Headquarters (SAN HQ), OpenManage Essentials (OME), Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Enterprise Manager Client with Storage Center OS (SCOS) consoles or without a console for up to 20 PowerEdge servers. For Dell™ PowerEdge™ servers, Dell SCv2000 series storage arrays, EqualLogic storage arrays, PowerVault™ storage devices, PowerConnect™ networking devices and Force10™ networking devices
