Can the data be backed up only on an external hard drive?
The data can be backed up to any USB storage device, but an external hard drive is recommended.
Will the Direct USB Key work on SSD Drives & RAID?
The Direct USB Key has been tested on systems with SSDs and RAID and are fully compatible.
Can the backed-up data be copied to my system manually?
No, the backed-up data is encrypted and designed to automatically restore the files from the backup location to your system.
After the data has been restored, can I go ahead and delete the restoration file from external storage device?
Yes, once the data has been restored and verified by you, the restoration file from the external storage device can be deleted.
Will the Direct USB Key back up emails?
Yes, if you have Outlook PST this can be backed up. As for users with Windows mail, the user has to ensure that the path: C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\ is backed up.
