To install Array Manager on Windows, do the following:

1. Download the Array Manager install media to a directory on your hard
drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable.
2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting
file downloaded in step 1.
4. To install, read and follow the instructions provided with the software.
OR Run setup.exe in the setup folder after downloading to your hard disk
and follow onscreen instructions.

To install Array Manager on NetWare, do the following:

Note: If a version of Array Manager is already installed on the NetWare
system, uninstall that version before continuing with the install of Array
Manager 3.3.

1. Download the Array Manager install media to a directory on your hard
drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting
file downloaded in step 1.

4. Locate AMINST.NLM and AMINST.IPS in the NetWare folder. Copy these
files to the NetWare server.

5. Start the NetWare configuration utility by entering the following from
the NetWare system console:

For NetWare 4.2, enter:

install

For NetWare 5.x and NetWare 6, enter:

nwconfig

6) Select Product Options and then Install product not listed.

7) Specify the full path to the directory containing the AMINST.NLM and
AMINST.IPS files on the NetWare server. NetWare completes
the installation for you.
