Extract
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file.
2. Extract the file using the following commands:
tar -xzvf xxxxxxx.tar.gz
This will create a directory containing the rpm files and source files:
xxxxx.rpm which is the binary install file for the driver
Install ( You must run rpm as the root user. )
1. To install the base driver RPM type "rpm -Uvh xxxxxx.rpm"
Example:
rpm -Uvh 7000m-hwinfo-8.100-0.2.rpm
