The Dell™ OpenManage™ 6.2.0.1 patch enables Dell OpenManage Server Administrator to report teaming and/or virtual NIC interface details, if teaming and/or virtual network interface is created . After the successful upgrade of this patch, you can view the teaming details in the Network page of the Server Administrator GUI.

The same information can be viewed using the following CLI commands:

omreport chassis nics – Reports the Physical and Teamed/Virtual Interface
omreport chassis nics config=team – Reports only the Teamed/Virtual Interface
omreport chassis nics config=team index= – Reports detailed information on the specified Teamed/Virtual Interface

Note: In case of modular servers, use “mainsystem” instead of “chassis” in the CLI command.

In addition to the above mentioned change this patch also contains a fix for a run time error on dsm__sa_datamanager program. This fix addresses the run time error on the dciemp module that is noticed on certain systems during runtime.
