There are some dependencies to install the dell-nividia driver correctly. Please follow the below instructions 1. Default RHEL6.1 install is "Desktop". Instead, you need to choose "Software Development Wokstation" during the OS install. This will install some required development packages. 2. You will also need to install some compat libraries. Select the below from the Software Install Screen during the OS install: Customize Now-->Base System-->Compatability Libraries 3. After the OS install, use the RHEL6.1 media to install the below rpms: libX11-1.3-2.el6.i686.rpm libXau-1.0.5-1.el6.i686.rpm libXext-1.1-3.el6.i686.rpm libxcb-1.5-1.el6.i686.rpm zlib-1.2.3-25.el6.i686.rpm
4. Finally Install the dell dkms package
Reboot will be required
