The Dell™ OpenManage™ Connection for HP OpenView is a systems management plug-in to the HP OpenView Network Node Manager (NNM) framework that integrates Dell PowerEdge™ server alerts into HP OpenView NNM.

Important Information
The new Graphical User Interface, HomeBase of HP OpenView NNM 7.01 is not supported by this version of Connections.
This Connection is required for customers managing servers that have Dell OpenManage 5.0 or later installed.

* The Connection supports Dell OpenManage Server Administrator version 5.0
* The Connection supports Storage Management 2.0.
* The Connection supports Dell OpenManage Array Manager version 3.7.
* The Connection supports Dell OpenManage IT Assistant Management Console version 7.0 and later.
* The Connection supports launch of DRAC 5 Web console for the management of DRAC 5 card.
* The Connection displays Platform Event Traps (PET) alerts from DRAC 5 and Baseboard Management controller (BMC), embedded with the host name of the system generating the alert.
* The Connection supports execution of the Intelligent Platform Management Interface shell (IPMISH) commands on Dell systems that have BMC.
Installation Instructions
Custom Instructions for HP32RA00.exe:
1. Download the file (self-extracting executable) above to a directory on your hard drive.
2. Navigate to the location where the file was downloaded and double-click the executable. By default, the files will be extracted to the following folder: "C:\Dell_OpenManage_Connection_v32_ReleaseNotes_for_HPOV_NNM". You may select a different location for file extraction by clicking the browse button and entering a path other than the default.
3. After extracting, navigate to the extraction target directory and refer to the readme for the Dell OpenManage Connection for HP OpenView NNM.
Custom Instructions for HP32UA00.exe:
1. Download the file (self-extracting executable) above to a directory on your hard drive.
2. Navigate to the location where the file was downloaded and double-click the executable. By default, the files will be extracted to the following folder: "C:\Dell_OpenManage_Connection_v32_UsersGuide_for_HPOV_NNM". You may select a different location for file extraction by clicking the browse button and entering a path other than the default.
3. After extracting, navigate to the extraction target directory and refer to the User's Guide for the Dell OpenManage Connection for HP OpenView NNM.
