Installing a Windows Driver for a New RAID Controller:

1. When the controller is added to a server and the operating system detects the controller, click Cancel on All Detected Devices and reboot.
2. The Found New Hardware Wizard screen displays the detected hardware device. Click Next.
3. The screen used to locate the device driver for the hardware device is displayed.
4. Select Search for a Suitable Driver for my Device. Click Next.
5. The Locate Driver Files screen is displayed.
6. Browse to the location where the driver files were saved.
7. Upon installing the drivers, the Completing the Upgrade Device Driver wizard displays the name of the controller.
8. Click Finish to complete the installation.


Updating a Windows Driver for a RAID controller:

1. Under Computer Management, click on Device Manager. Under SCSI and RAID controller, double-click on the appropriate RAID controller.
2. Under the Driver tab, select Update Driver.
3. Use the Hardware Update Wizard that will appear to update the driver.
4. When prompted to select the device driver, browse to the location where the driver files were saved.
5. Upon installing the drivers, the Completing the Hardware Update Wizard screen appears.
6. Click Finish to complete the installation.
