The installer will not update chipset INF files if they are already present on the system and are valid, even if from a prior release. In this case, chipset update is unnecessary and will not be performed, and driver revisions will not be updated. There is no impact on system functionality, as the purpose of the chipset release is to simply remove warnings in Windows Device Manager.

The update may be forced by using the following procedure:
