- This release allows the IEEE1394 Firmware update to be run on a system without a Floppy Drive attached.
Installation Instructions
Please follow these instructions:
**Note: You will require a CDRW and a CD burning software such as Roxio
Easy CD Creator 5 in order to use this file to create a Bootable CD to
update the IEEE 1394 Firmware.**
1. Download the file to your hard drive.
2. Place a blank CD-ROM in your CDRW.
3. Double-Click on the "1394_A01.iso" file.
4. The file should automatically launch the CD burning software.
5. Select th option to "Start Recording".
6. The CD burning software will create a bootable CD with the 1394
Firware Update.
7. Click OK to exit the application.
8. Close all applications on you desktop and restart your system while
the Boot CD is present in the CD-ROM Drive.
9. You computer will boot to the CD and ask to,"Press any key to
continue..." to update the Firmware.
10. Press Enter. The Firware will be updated at this time.
11. Remove CD-ROM and reboot you computer.
