The Dell Management Packs for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager SP1 and System Center Essentials SP1 integrate Dell Servers, Dell Printers, Dell Business Clients and Dell MD Storage Array Enclosure monitoring into Operations Manager. The Management Packs provide a list of Dell-specific views that you can use to observe and drill down the system status in a network.
The version 3.1.1 release consists of 3 Management Packs:
1) Dell Server and Printer Management Pack (including Reporting, Storage Controller and Out Of Band DRAC, CMC support) for Dell PowerEdge servers, PowerVault storage and Dell Printers.
2) Dell Client Management Pack for Dell business computers
3) Dell Storage Array Management Pack for MD3000, MD3000i and daisy chained MD1000 enclosure.

Important Information
Dell Management Pack version 3.1.1 is supported on System Center Operations Manager 2007 SP1 and System Center Essentials 2007 SP1 only. It does not function with prior releases of the MOM product.

Fixes & Enhancements
Version A00 changes:
- Dell Server and Printer Management Pack (Dell.Connections.001.mp) code was modified with fixes for discovery of Storage Controllers with Server Administrator version 5.5, and a known defect with health of Virtual Disks, where in some scenarios health of Virtual Disks were not shown correctly.
- The executable 'DellBMCLog.exe' was modified to include improved error handling.
- The Storage Array Management Pack (Dell.Connections.StorageArray.mp) and the executable 'dellabb.exe' was modified to add support for MD Storage Arrays (MD3000/MD3000i), both generation 1 with firmware version 06.xx.xx.xx as well as generation 2 with firmware version 07.xx.xx.xx.
Installation Instructions
Custom Instructions for DellMPv3.1.1_A00.exe:
1.Download the file to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable.
2.Go to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the executable to unzip the files. The default extraction folder is "C:\DellMPv3.1.1\A00". You may select a different location for file extraction by editing the path.
3.Follow the installation instructions in the User Guide and readme file included.
