Dell recommends applying this update during your next scheduled update cycle. The update contains feature enhancements or changes that will help keep your system software current and compatible with other system modules (firmware, BIOS, drivers and software).
Important Information
WARNING!!! DO NOT REMOVE THE DISKETTE WHILE FLASHING!!!
WARNING!!! UNDER WINDOWS NT/2000/2003 DO NOT HIT ANY KEY ON KEYBOARD WHILE FLASHING!!!
NOTE: In order to create this diskette, the .exe file must be downloaded to and executed on a sytem running Microsoft Windows.

Download
1. Click the "Download Now" link to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive.
Installation
1. Read over the release information presented by executing the "./ESM_FRMW_LX_R116165.BIN --version" command from the shell.
2. Download and install any prerequisites identified in the above step before proceeding.
3. Run the update by executing "./ESM_FRMW_LX_R116165.BIN" from the shell.
4. Follow the remaining prompts to perform the update.

Extract Files
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file to unzip the download package.
2. Specify the location to unzip the files.
3. Click on the unzip button to extract files.
Additional Instructions
DOS Version
1. Boot the system requiring the update to DOS.
2. Insert the diskette created above or change to the directory on the
hard drive where the files were un-zipped.
3. At the DOS prompt, type "BMCFL16D". This will run BMCFL16D.EXE
4. Answer “Y” at the prompt to begin the upgrade.
