Dell OpenManage Server Administrator, v.1.4, A01
Dell OpenManage Server Administrator is a secure Web tool for managing
individual Dell(TM)PowerEdge(TM) servers. Using this tool, an
administrator with an Internet/intranet connection can manage the server
from any location using either a graphical user interface (GUI) that runs
in a Web browser or a command line interface (CLI) that is accessed
through the command prompt.
This also includes Remote Install 1.1 agents for PowerEdge 1655MC only.
Note that in order to use the 1.1 agents, the user must also upgrade the
Remote Install image server to the 1.1 version as well.

Description
Dell OpenManage Server Administrator is a secure Web tool for managing
individual Dell(TM)PowerEdge(TM) servers. Using this tool, an
administrator with an Internet/intranet connection can manage the server

This also includes Remote Install 1.1 agents for PowerEdge 1655MC only.
Note that in order to use the 1.1 agents, the user must also upgrade the
Remote Install image server to the 1.1 version as well.

Dell recommends the customer review specifics about the update to determine if it applies to your system. The update contains changes that impact only certain configurations, or provides new features that may/may not apply to your environment.
Important Information
*Before you install Server Administrator, you must uninstall any previous
installations of Resolution Assistant.
*For PowerEdge 8450 systems, allow the system to run for approximately 30
minutes before upgrading from a previous Dell OpenManage product release
to this current release.

Installation Instructions

Download
1.Click the “Download Now” link to download the file.
2.If the Export Compliance Disclaimer window appears, click the “I
agree” link to accept the agreement.
3.When the File Download window appears, click “Save” to save the file
to your hard drive.
Extract Files
1.Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click
to unzip the download package.
2.Specify the location to unzip the files.
3.Click on the Unzip button to extract the files.
Installation
1.Browse to the location where the files were unzipped.
2.Double-click the setup.exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.
