Installation Instructions

Download
1. Click the Download Now link to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Extract Files
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file to unzip the download package
2. Click Continue.
3. Specify the location to unzip the files.
4. Click on the OK button to extract files.
After the files are extracted the message all files were successfully unzipped will appear.
5. Click the OK button to exit from the installer.
At the location where the files were extracted:
If installing on a Windows 2000, 2003, or XP system, click on the WIN32 directory and then double-click on the setup.exe file. Follow the on-screen instructions.
If installing on a Linux system, click on the LINUX directory and then double click on the setup.bin file. Alternately, using the command line interface, change the working directory to the directory where the setup.bin file is located by using the "cd" command and then type "sh ./setup.bin".
If Active Directory support is required and the network is utilizing Dell OpenManage, click on the OM Plug-In directory and navigate to either the 32-bit or the 64-bit Active Directory Snap-In folder as necessary for your system and install the snap-in using the included installer. Also, if Dell Schema Extensions for Active Directory are required, then at the OM Plug-In directory, navigate to the OM ActiveDirectory_Tools\KVM folder and use the schema extender installer included in the Schema_Extender folder. Alternatively, if you wish to utilize an LDIF script in order to extend the schema, an LDIF script is included in the LDIF folder for your convenience.
