Important Information
Known Limitations
-----------------
Firmware upgrade while controller is doing background I/O task
--------------------------------------------------------------
Firmware upgrade process will fail if any background I/O task
(i.e. RAID-5 background consistency check or power on auto-resume
rebuild and reconstruction) is being performed. An error message
like "Failed Writing Image on Adapter 0 with Baseport f0008"
will be displayed.
Wait until the background task completes before update the firmware.

Fixes & Enhancements
Firmware Bug Fixes:
-------------------
1. Norton Anti-Virus software was issuing reads for LBA out of
range. The firmware was not handling it properly resulting
in failing of drives. This is fixed. If the LBA is out of
range the command is rejected without sending it to SCSI
module.
2. EVPD INQ data (HDD serial number) is now returned correctly.
Previously it was considered as normal INQ and the return
data was interpreted incorrectly.
3. Deleting the first created virtual disk on Vail used to hard
lock the system in W2K. When the driver sends a command to
the firmware, it is queued in the firmware internal queue.
This command is picked up for processing by the firmware at
a later point of time. When a Delete Config call comes the
firmware first finishes all the pending rd/wr commands for
all the logical drives and then completes the Delete Config
Call. Now if a rd/wr call comes on the logical drive being
deleted before the Delete Config call is completed the firmware
was never picking it up from the internal queue. This was the
bug. Now the firmware clears these pending commands with error
that have come in between the "arrival of DeleteConfig and
completion of DeleteConfig".
Firmware Enhancements
---------------------
1. PowerVault 220S and PowerVault 221S support added. The
firmware previously was asking for 12 drive information on
SAF-TE calls. Now it asks for 16 drives.
