The following OM patch allows support for Microsoft Windows 2003 SP1 IA64 edition on the PowerEdge 7250.
Installation of this release requires the following install sequence to install.
(1)Update system BIOS to A08 for 6M core processors, or B02 for 9m core processors
(2)Install Windows Server 2003 IA64 (Skip if already installed)
(3)Install OM 64bit 1.0 for PowerEdge 7250, the OM 64bit 1.0 iso image is available from the Dell Support website at"support.dell.com". (Skip if already installed)
(4)Install OM 64bit 1.0 Patch 1 for PowerEdge 7250
(5)Install Windows Server 2003 IA64 SP1

* Dell OpenManage 1.0 for 64-bit systems may cause an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Blue Screen with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 IA64 SP1. This patch provides a fix for the Blue Screen. Before installing Microsoft Windows Server 2003 IA64 SP1, this patch should be installed on all PowerEdge 7250 systems that are running Dell OpenManage 1.0 for 64-bit systems.

Download
