Custom Instructions for Intel_LAN_11.6_Linux_DKMS_A02.tar.gz:
This archive contains the Intel Gigabit (e1000e, igb) , 10 Gigabit (ixgbe), and ioatdma DKMS RPMs for Red Hat LinuxEL4, RHEL5, and SLES10x64. For Novell SLES11x64 the KMP drivers are included. DKMS provides a frame work for installing and maintaining drivers for multiple kernels. You must install or have installed the latest version of DKMS program before using this DKMS RPM package. You can download DKMS from www.support.dell.com.
Download
1. Click the "Download Now" link to download the file.

3. When the File Download window appears, click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive.
Extract
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and extract the file using the following commands: tar -xzvf Intel_LAN_11.6_Linux_DKMS_A02.tar.gz

1. To install the driver using DKMS, use "rpm -ivh (rpm name).rpm". You must install or have installed the DKMS program (available from www.support.dell.com) before running the rpm command.
