This service pack also resolves the following issues in the previous release of Windows Powered NAS 2.01:
Services for UNIX now allows you to add group names by using friendly names.
Services for UNIX now allows you to edit share properties during a file copy.
You must now use an HTTPS site to administer Windows Powered Network-Attached Storage (NAS) by using the Windows Powered NAS Web user interface (UI).
You can now configure security settings for the HTTP sharing protocol by using the Windows Powered NAS Web UI.

It ensures that the system software remains current and compatible with other system modules (firmware, BIOS, drivers, and software) and may include other new features.

Installing the Service Pack Do not use the SAK 2.01 software update feature to install Windows 2000 for NAS 2.01 SP1.
To install Windows 2000 for NAS 2.01 Service Pack 1 (SP1) on an existing network-attached storage server, you must copy the Nas2sp1a.exe file to NAS system you plan on upgrading.
Use Terminal Services to connect to the computer or log in locally, and then run the .exe file.

Download 1. Click the "Download Now" link to download the file NAS2SP1a_Readme.txt.
2. If the Export Compliance Disclaimer window appears, click the "I agree" link to accept the agreement.
