Description
Adaptec 39160 SCSI Controller BIOS
Level of Importance:Recommended
Dell recommends applying this update during your next scheduled update cycle. The update contains feature enhancements or changes that will help keep your system software current and compatible with other system modules (firmware, BIOS, drivers and software).
Important Information
In order to create this diskette, the file must be downloaded to and executed on a system running
Microsoft Windows.
*NOTE: If the 39160 HBA is NOT the boot controller in your system, it is highly recommended to disable INT13h support (done in the SCSISelect boot time utility - invoked by pressing 'Ctl-A' when prompted to do so during POST) for the 39160 adapter, since this could impact interoperation with the boot controller.
