Description
See Installation Instructions. Below are the 3 ISO files for the Dell Server Update Utility (SUU). Instructions explain how to join the files together prior to creating the Server Update DVD. Dell Server Updates includes OpenManage Dell SUU, a local 1-to-1 one step utility to update BIOS, Linux
Level of Importance:Optional
Dell recommends the customer review specifics about the update to determine if it applies to your system. The update contains changes that impact only certain configurations, or provides new features that may/may not apply to your environment.
Important Information
A double layer DVD (DVD-9) media is required to burn the DVD image.
The Dell™ Server Updates DVD includes the OpenManage™ Server Update Utility (SUU), the repository of known good system update sets, their associated Dell Update Packages (DUPs), and all related documentation. SUU is a software application to identify, view and automatically apply BIOS, driver and firmware updates to your Dell PowerEdge™ Systems. It is designed for 1:1 server updates.
Dell Repository Manager allows the creation of a customized Server Update Utility (SUU) that can greatly reduce the size of the SUU that you need to download. With Repository Manager you can select specific systems that you want to update and download just the content specific to those systems.
The Dell Lifecycle Controller Driver packs are no longer available on the SUU DVD. To download the driver pack iso files, please search for Release number 308297.
