Description

DDPA 2.3 release supporting ControlVault Firmware for DDPA

Level of Importance:Recommended

Dell recommends applying this update during your next scheduled update cycle. The update contains feature enhancements or changes that will help keep your system software current and compatible with other system modules (firmware, BIOS, drivers and software).

Important Information

Note: this A28 USH Firmware release supports production USH hardware CustID 7 only. REQUIREMENTS ----------------- The latest Dell Data Protection | Access must be installed in order for the USHUPGRADE to communicate with the ControlVault. "Application configuration is incorrect" is a result of an old driver pack being installed. The USHUPGRADE is not a stand alone application. It requires all files contained in the firmware directory to update the USH firmware. The files USHUPGRADE uses depend on the particular system. The USHUPGRADE can only be run by a user with Administrator privileges. NOTE: If running from Vista with User Account Control (UAC) enabled, the USHUPGRADE must be run as an Administrator. ----------------- GETTING STARTED ----------------- Please refer to the \firmware\readme.txt file for advanced command line options and result codes
