Printers fail to respond to SNMP ping requests. Hence, the printers' health
status is set to warning and the icon appears grey indicating the device is
not monitored.

Dell Printer Management Pack version 6.1 is supported on Microsoft System Center 2016 Operations Manager, Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager, Microsoft System Center 2012 SP1 Operations Manager, Microsoft System Center 2012 Operations Manager and System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 only. It does not function with prior releases of the MOM product.
Upgrades from Dell Printer MP v6.0 to Dell Printer MP v6.1 is supported.
Upgrades from previous Dell Printer MP v3.x to Dell Printer MP v6.1 is not supported.

Printer Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager and System Center Essentials
Custom Instructions for Dell_Printer_Management_Pack_v6.1_Axx.exe:
1. Download the self-extracting Dell_Printer_Management_Pack_v6.1_Axx.exe (where xx is the Dell Printer Management Pack release number) file from dell.com/support to a destination directory on the management system.
2. Run the Dell_Printer_Management_Pack_v6.1_Axx.exe file to extract any of the Management Packs or utilities. The default location is C:\Dell Management Packs\Printer Management Pack\6.1.
3. Launch the OpsMgr console.
4. In the navigation pane, click Administration.
5. Expand the Administration tree, right-click Management Packs, and click Import Management Packs.
6. Click Add and select Add from disk.
7. Type or browse to the location where you extracted the management packs.
8. Select Dell Printer Management Pack (Dell.Printer.OM12.mp for OpsMgr 2012/2016, and Dell.NetworkDevice.Printer.mp for OpsMgr 2007 R2) and Base Folder Utility 4.0 (Dell.Connections.HardwareLibrary.mp) and click Open.
The Import Management Packs screen is displayed with the selected management packs or utilities in the Import List.
9. Click Install to import the management pack.
10. After importing the management pack, click Close.
