For Windows, Use the following command from command prompt that administrator privileges and reboot after the command completion: - storcli.exe /c0 download file = 9460-16i_nopad.rom (or) - storcli64.exe /c0 download file = 9460-16i_nopad.rom
NOTE: If you have more than one controllers, repeat this step but update /c0 to /c1, /c2 and so on.

Allow the background task to complete before attempting to upgrade the firmware. Patrol Read tasks will not affect a firmware upgrade
