Download the file and double click it to extract the file.

* Go to Control Panel -> System -> Device Manger.
Select Network adapters -> SMC IrCC (Infrared
Communications Controller) -> Properties -> Driver
tab -> "Update Driver..."
* Choose "Display a list of all the drivers in a specific
location, so you can select the driver you want."
* Click "Have Disk..."
* Insert the disk that contains updated driver with INF
file, or point to the directory where they are located
by choosing "Browse..." and choose SMC IrCC (Infrared
Communications Controller) from Models.
* On the next dialog box, confirm that the path of the
"Location of driver" is the correct directory where
the new driver is located.
* Finally, restart the computer when prompted to do so.
(Do not forget to eject floppy disk!)
