Installation instructions
Default Instructions for AS2000SP4.zip:
Download
1. Click Download Now, to download the file.
2. At the Export Compliance Disclaimer window, click Yes, I Accept
this Agreement.
3. When the File Download window appears, click Save this program to
disk (Windows XP users, click Save) and click OK. The Save In: window
appears.
4. From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to
select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
5. If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file
name icon appears on your desktop.
Install
1. Shut down ARCserve.
2. Extract the contents of AS2000SP4.zip to a temporary directory.
3. Double click AS2000SP4.exe to run the self-extracting file.
2. Choose a destination folder to which you want to extract the
source files or click Next to extract to the default folder C:\AS2000SP4.
3. Once the extraction is completed, setup automatically launches
update.exe to start the local Service Pack 4 installation.
4. Continue with Service Pack 4 installation.
5. When the installation of Service Pack 4 is completed, the
extracted source files can be deleted.
6. If Internet Explorer 5 or above is not installed on the system,
Service Pack 4 installs in silent mode with status, error, warning, and
completion dialogs.
7. The log file ends with the line: *** END OF SETUP ***
8. When the update is complete, start the ARCserve application.
Download
1. Click Download Now, to download the file.
