DOWNLOAD 1 - Download the file MLNX_OFED_LINUX-2.3-1.0.1.tar.gz to a local hard drive or other storage media 2 - Go to the location where the the file has been downloaded 3 - Unpack the file with the following command: tar -xvf MLNX_OFED_LINUX-2.3-1.0.1.tar.gz.
INSTALL 1 - Go to the location where the file has been unpacked, then issue the following command: cd MLNX_OFED_LINUX-2.3.1.0.1 2 - Change to the directory (folder) corresponding to the Linux OS distribution being selected (such as rhel6.4 or sles11sp3). For example if rhel6.4 is the target OS, go to its folder (subdirectory) with the following command: cd rhel6/rhel6.4 3 - To install the selected package, Run the linux shell command: ./install.sh 4 - Follow the instructions on the screen.
