-In order to create this diskette, it must be downloaded to and executed on a system running Microsoft Windows.
- Support Pack 2 is required for Netware 6.0.
- Support Pack 5 is required for Netware 5.1.
- Netware 6.0 installation on a multiprocessor platform will fail due to absence of the latest Support Pack files. To successfully install Netware 6.0 on such a platform, you will need to boot into the driver disk created above after completing the server installation. Refer to the install instruction notes provided.
- Installation of Netware 6.0 on a uniprocessor system or Netware 5.1 on both uniprocessor as well as multiprocessor systems will be successful. The support packs, however, are required updates for stable functionality of the driver.
- Both instances of the driver must be loaded for dual-channel chips instead of a single instance.
- This version of the driver will work with Integrated Mirroring MPT firmware. However, IM volumes are not supported therefore no volumes should be configured.
- Cabling and/or test conditions that result in numerous SCSI Bus resets may cause the OS to deactivate devices. Device rescan and volume remount may be required.
This program creates a Netware 5.1 and Netware 6.0 driver diskette for the LSI Logic SCSI controllers. You will need a formatted 3 1/2 inch floppy diskette for the following procedure.

Select Custom Install. 4. Follow the instructions on the screen until you reach the "Storage Driver Support" screen. This screen is used to add, change or delete drivers. 5. Select "Storage Adapters" on the "Storage Driver Support" screen. 6. Press "Insert" to add unlisted drivers. Press "Insert" again. A path displays. 7.
