Installation Instructions

Driver Package
The driver package is a compressed tar file.
1) To extract the components within the tar file, un-tar the files:
tar -xvzf R282636-megaraid_sas-00.00.04.31.2-1.tar.gz
2) Extracted files should contain the following:
dkms rpm dkms-2.0.22.0-1.noarch.rpm
driver rpm megaraid_sas-v00.00.04.31.2-1.noarch.rpm
source code megaraid_sas-v00.00.04.31.2-src.tgz

Adding or Updating the Driver on a System.
1) Install the DKMS rpm package if needed. Use this command:
2) rpm -ivh dkms-2.0.22.0-1.noarch.rpm NOTE: Use rpm -Uvh dkms-2.0.22.0-1.noarch.rpm when updating an existing package.
3) Install the Driver package. Use this command
4) rpm -Uvh megaraid_sas-v00.00.04.31.2-1.noarch.rpm
5) Verify the driver has been loaded with this system command:
