1.The 4200 series processor can be working with BIOS v2.x.x only. So customer needs to flash BIOS to 2.x.x before replaces CPU to 4200-series processors.
2.The SETUP settings will be reset to default while system upgrades from BIOS v1.x.x. to v2.x.x. It is recommended that the customer record the current BIOS settings before flashing, and then set back BIOS setting by manual after BIOS flashed.
3. It is allowed to upgrade BIOS by DOS package only while system runs with BIOS 2.1.2 and 2.1.4.

DOS package install instructions:
NOTE: You must provide a DOS bootable media, such as a USB key. This executable file does not create the DOS system files.

1. Browse to the location where you exact the PEC6105BIOS020106.exe.
2. Update the name of the file to DOS recognizable format (8.3). If you do not update the filename to 8.3 format, the filename will be truncated to 8.3 format.
3. Copy the file to the bootable device.
4. Boot the system to DOS by using the bootable device.
5. Run the 6105v216.EXE under DOS.
6. Waiting the update process completion automatically.

Windows package install instructions:
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded C6105_BIOS_DV4P8_WN32_2.1.6_A00.EXE file and double-click to launch update.
2. Click Install icon to continue.
3. Waiting the update process completion automatically.

Linux package install instructions:
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded C6105_BIOS_DV4P8_LN32_2.1.6_A00.BIN file and run the file in command line.
