Dell OpenManage Plug-in version 2.0 for Nagios Core provides capabilities to monitor 12th and later generations of Dell PowerEdge servers through an agent-free method using integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) with Lifecycle Controller technology, Dell chassis and Dell storage devices in the Nagios Core console. This plug-in provides comprehensive hardware-level visibility including overall and component-level health monitoring of Dell PowerEdge servers, Dell chassis and Dell storage. This plug-in provides basic information about the Dell devices and its components and also monitors the events that are generated from the Dell devices (servers, chassis, and storage). This plug-in also supports one-to-one web console launch for iDRAC, Chassis, and storage devices to perform further troubleshooting, configuration, and management activities.

1.Dell Server Network Device Status service will show connection status for all the NIC instances while monitoring using SNMP protocol.
2.Dell Server Battery Status service will show the correct reading for all the PERC batteries while monitoring using SNMP protocol.
3.iDRAC7 SNMPv2 test trap is associated with the corresponding Dell device in the Nagios Core console.
4.Correct Dell Server Overall Health Status is displayed for Power supply and Fan of the Dell PowerEdge FM120x4 and FC630 servers when Rack style monitoring is enabled in the Dell PowerEdge FX2 chassis and the server when monitored using WS-MAN protocol.
5.Dell Server Fan Status service will display all the fan Fully Qualified Device Descriptor (FQDD) values when monitored using SNMP protocol.
6.Dell Server CPU overall health will display the correct status after upgrading firmware version from 1.57.57 to 1.66.65 or downgrading firmware version from 1.66.65 to 1.57.57 on Dell PowerEdge R620 while monitoring using SNMP protocol.
7. Dell Server Amperage Probe Status service will display correct status and reading for all the Amperage instances while monitoring using SNMP protocol.

- Dell PowerEdge M1000e, Dell PowerEdge VRTX, and Dell PowerEdge FX2/FX2s chassis device
- Dell EqualLogic PS-Series Storage Arrays
- Dell Compellent Storage Arrays
- Dell PowerVault MD Storage Arrays
2. Warranty information for all the supported Dell devices.
3. Monitor SNMP alerts from all the supported Dell devices.
4. View Alert Knowledge Base (KB) information for the following Dell devices:
- 12th and later generations of Dell PowerEdge servers (Agent-free servers)
- Dell PowerEdge M1000e, Dell PowerEdge VRTX, and Dell PowerEdge FX2/FX2s chassis device
- Dell EqualLogic PS-Series Storage Arrays
5. Launch the following web consoles from NagiosCore to perform further troubleshooting, configuration, or management activities:
- Dell Chassis Console
- Dell EqualLogic Group Manager Console
- Dell Compellent Storage Manager Console
6. Upgrade from Dell OpenManage Plug-in Version 1.0 to Dell OpenManage Plug-in Version 2.0.
