Firmware upgrade through the Windows utility

Procedure
1. Save the SanDisk SSD Updater executable file in a folder or directory on the target system.
2. Double click on the executable file to launch the application. Administrator rights will be required to perform this step.
3. The tool will scan the system and list all supported and detected SanDisk SSDs. If an SSD is not listed, click on the Refresh icon to rescan the system. If a Refresh fails to detect the SSD, check the SATA connection and try again.
If a supported target SSD is not detected, the SanDisk SSD Updater Tool will list the supported SSD models and firmware versions.
4. Select the drive that needs to be updated by clicking on the drive name.
5. Details about the drive will be shown on the right panel. The firmware update will be allowed for targeted models and firmware versions of SanDisk SSDs.
6. Click Update Firmware to start the firmware update.
7. A warning message will be displayed. Click Cancel to return to the drive list page, or click Update Firmware to continue.
8. After a successful firmware update, the host system and drive must be powered off to activate the new firmware.
9. Relaunch the application after powering up the host system to confirm that the firmware is up to date on the target drive.
