Fixes & Enhancements

This update patch resolves the following issues:

  • On notebooks, after launching Easy CD Creator 5.1_E3c, Bay Manager
may not allow optical drive swapping under Windows 98SE and Windows
    Millenium.

  • When adding data to the data project, if the amount of data reaches
the capacity of the intended target CD, the system may return an error
    indicating insufficient disc space.

  • Copying Files Easy CD Creator explorer to Windows Desktop may cause
an error message ("Server Busy Error") to appear on Windows 2000.

  • When performing a CD to CD copy using one drive, data is first read
in from the source CD. If source CD is an audio CD, the overall progress
is not updated in the CD picture on the left hand side of the window.

  • Cannot see contents of a new CD if Roxio's UDF driver mounted
    the previous CD.

  • Fast User Switching in Windows XP disables DirectCD for other
    users.

  • Cannot create a Track-At-Once copy of a Kodak Picture CD.

  • Easy CD Creator does not save the boot files when saving a bootable
    CD layout.

  • MP3 files encoded at less than 128 KB/s cannot be added to the Music
    CD Project.

  • On single drive configurations, the system may display incorrect
messaging ("Insert a blank CD or a CD with enough free space to record the
project.") when trying to add additional data from a source CD to a
data CD that already contains one or more data sessions. Now, the user
must use a blank CD. To add additional data to the disc, first import the
session from the target CD or first copy the desired files to the hard
    drive.

  • On certain drives, the system may prevent the selection audio tracks
on an audio CD from within the Roxio explorer window.

  • Music CD Creation: During the process of copying audio tracks
to hard drive, the status bar overlaps the "OK" button.

  • Up/Down buttons are reversed in the "Number of Copies" selection box
    in Music CD Project.

    Additional Features:
  • Enables DVD Pre-mastering support for Philips DVD+RW D01 drives.
