Fixes & Enhancements

This patch is a work around for an issue with Microsoft Windows NT4
Service Pack 4 or later. (See Microsoft bug Q230117) Reference

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q230117

The bug presents itself when the screensaver is set to "None." The
symptom is that a Dr. Watson error occurs when console redirection is
engaged and the mouse first moves. The error box refers to the file
DracHlpr. If other applications are open on the managed node, they shut
down.

When you first console redirect and move the mouse, the DRAC code queries
the Operating System (OS) to see if the screen saver is active. If the
screen saver is active, then DRAC closes the desktop (screensaver) and
gets you to the regular desktop. The bug in Windows causes the OS to
respond that the
screen saver is active even when there is no screen saver, so DRAC closes
the regular desktop. This is why all the applications are shutting down -
including DracHlpr, which unloads the file dra.dll. The DRAC Console
Redirection Service (dracdir.exe) then tries to respawn drachlpr and,
without dra.dll loaded, a Dr. Watson occurs.
