This patch can be used on any of the three named systems that shipped from the Dell factory prior to February 22, 2002 to regions outside of the United States. The factory-installed version of Modem Helper that shipped prior to that date can falsely report dial tone failures in various countries in Europe and Asia. This patch updates a file in the customer diagnostic that fixes this issue and updates the version of Modem Helper from 2.00.61 to 2.00.61.1.
