1. Log in as root/administrator. 2. Launch Terminal by right-clicking on Desktop and select Open Terminal. 3. Ensure that Linux web package is on Desktop. 4. In Terminal, type below commands and press 'Enter': # cd Desktop # tar -zxvf Dell2335dn_Driver_ONLY_Linux_v1.05.tar.gz # cd cdroot # sh autorun
Brief Description: i. Change to Desktop directory ii. Extract or untar file contents on to Desktop iii. Change to cdroot directory extracted from tar file iv. Execute shell to run autorun script
5. Installer should be running in Terminal, follow on screen instructions until install is complete.
