Firmware upgrade through the Windows utility

Note: It is recommended to back up the data in the computer and close all open applications. It is also recommended that you connect the power cable to the computer and disconnect all external storage devices.

Download
1. Click Download File to download the file.
2. When the download is complete, unzip the file.
The file explorer open pointing to the directory that contains the downloaded file.

Upgrade Procedure
1. Close all applications and save your work before the firmware upgrade process.
2. Go to the location where you have downloaded the package and double-click the file to start the upgrade process.

Firmware upgrade through the DOS utility

Note: It is recommended to back up the data in the computer and close all open applications. It is also recommended that you connect the power cable to the computer and disconnect all external storage devices.

Procedure
1. Go to the DOS subdirectory.
2. Insert a blank CD into the optical drive.
3. Copy the ISO image into the blank CD.
4. Insert the CD (created from the above steps) into the optical drive of the system.
5. Boot your system from the optical drive.
6. Select the targeted drive once your system boots into DOS.
7. The next screen is a warning message. Click Y to proceed.
8. After the upgrade is completed, you are prompted to reboot the machine. Remove the CD and reboot your system.
9. Open Device manager > open SSD > click Properties > choose hardware ID under Details and check the firmware version to confirm that the firmware update was successful.
