Format Description:
This file contains a compressed (or zipped) set of files. Download the file to a folder on your hard drive, then double-click it to unzip the set of files. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
After downloading, run the DL11AL.EXE file from within Windows ONLY, and it will create a floppy disk.
Please read the instructions in this file before installing the software for the Dell PowerVault 120T DLT1 Autoloader device.
NOTE: This device driver is for the Dell PowerVault 120T DLT1 Autoloader and is to be used with Windows 2000. This driver is not intended for use with the Dell PowerVault 120T DLT4000 Autoloader, Dell PowerVault 120T DLT7000 Autoloader, or Dell PowerVault 120T DDS Autoloader.
1) Connect the Dell PowerVault 120T DLT1 Autoloader, and restart the machine.
2) Start the Windows 2000 Device Manager.
3) In the Device Manager select "Medium Changers", right click on "Unknown Medium Changer device", and select "Properties".
4) In the properties page, select "Driver" tab, and click on "Update Driver...". This will start "Upgrade Device Driver Wizard". Click "Next".
5) Select the radio button against "Search for a suitable driver for my device".
Click "Next".
6) In "Optional search locations" check ONLY "Specify a location", and Click "Next". This will bring up a dialog box.
7) Specify "a:\" in the path for "Copy manufacturer's files from", and Click "OK".
Setup will select the installation file, del120dlt.inf. Click "Next".
8) Required files will be installed for the driver now. Click "Finish".
9) click "Close" on "Properties" page.
10) Make sure that in "Device Manager", under "Medium changers", "Dell (TM) PowerVault (TM) 120T DLT1 Autoloader" is listed.
11) Quit Device Manager (Click on "X" on top right corner to do that).
12) Setup will now prompt for a key stroke, and will then proceed to start the required services.
13) This completes the installation of software for Dell PowerVault 120T1 DLT1 Autoloader.
