This firmware release is intended primarily to support FX100 (zero client) usage with VMware View 4.5.
If deploying the FX100 in the standard R5400 1:1 workstation environment (non-VMware), please keep at FW 3.1.2 on both FX100 and R5400 to ensure compatibility.
Quick instructions for upgrading your firmware:
1. First log into the Portal Administration Web Interface
2. Select the "Upload" then "Firmware" tab.
3. Select the webpage Browse button to browse to the firmware '.all' file.
4. Select the File Upload window Open button
5. Select the webpage Upload button
6. Select the webpage OK button on the "Are you sure? This will upload a new firmware image." You will see a "This operation may take a few minutes" warning window.
7. Wait for the firmware upload to complete. The following message appears when complete: "Success Flash successfully programmed! You must reset the device for the changes to take effect."
8. Reset the Portal
Note that this firmware release can only be installed on PCoIP processors running firmware release 1.4 or greater
