Dell Management Pack for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager

The Dell Server Management Pack Suite v4.1 enables System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2007 SP1/R2 and System Center Essentials (SCE) SP1/2010 to Discover, Monitor and accurately depict the status of Dell PowerEdge/PowerVault Servers, Dell Remote Access Controllers (DRAC) and Chassis Management Controllers (CMC) on a defined network segment.

Dell Server Management Pack Suite v4.1 (A00) provides:
* Support for OpenManage events up to version 6.4
* Management of physical and teamed Network Interfaces for Broadcom and Intel NICs.
* Enriched monitoring of Network Interfaces on OpenManage Server Administrator versions greater than and equal to, along with basic monitoring on OMSA versions below
* Performance monitoring of Network Interfaces on OpenManage Server Administrator versions greater than
* Discovery of vflash card and monitoring of iDRAC network interfaces
* Realistic icons for the various components in Diagram View for the Dell Monolithic and Modular Systems.
* Representation of Server Modules and Chassis Slots Summary under Dell Chassis Management Controllers and Dell Modular Chassis Remote Access Controllers
* Correlation of the Server Modules under Dell Chassis Management Controllers/Dell Modular Chassis Remote Access Controllers with Dell Windows Servers on System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2.

Installation instructions

1. Click the Download Now link to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.

Extract Files
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file to unzip the download package
2. Click Continue.
3. Specify the location to unzip the files.
4. Click OK to extract files. After the files are extracted the message all files were successfully unzipped will appear.

Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

Important Information

* Dell Management Pack version 4.1 is supported on System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2/SP1 and System Center Essentials 2007 SP1/2010 only. It does not function with prior releases of the MOM product.
* Upgrades from Dell MP v4.0 to Dell MP v4.1 is supported.
* Upgrades from previous Dell MP v3.x to Dell MP v4.1 are not supported.
