LSI2008 Mezz card FW update instruction

For Legacy BIOS platform
1. Copy all files to a DOS bootable USB flash drive.
2. Insert the USB flash drive to your system and boot to DOS.
3. Change the directory to the folder with LSI2008 FW and update tools.
4. Execute f.bat and wait until FW update process finished.
5. Reboot system.

For uEFI Platform
1. Power-on your system and press "F2" to enter BIOS setting menu.
2. Change to "Boot" tab and select the "Boot Mode" as "uEFI", then press "F10" and "Y" to save the setting, then Reboot.
3. insert the USB flash drive with LSI2008 FW and tools, then Power-on your system and press "F11" then select "uEFI internal shell" to boot into uEFI shell.
4. Change to the folder with LSI2008 FW and update tools.
5. Run "sas2flash -o -listsasadd" and record your SAS address.
6. Run "sas2flash -o -e 7" to erase the flash ROM.
7. Run "sas2flash -f xx.fw" to update the FW.
8. Run "sas2flash -b mptsas2.rom" to update the MPT BIOS.
9. Run "sas2flash -b x64sas2.rom" to update the uEFI BIOS.
10, Run "sas2flash -o -sasadd xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx the the SAS address you record in step 5.)
