Dell PowerVault 110T DLT VS160, A13 Firmware Update Package

This release includes new firmware for the VS160 Tape Drive. This will replace any previous releases. Firmware will update to version 3200 (v50). This release includes DFU and DUP.

The DFU utility is used to flash the firmware for Windows, Linux, and Netware one drive at a time.

The DUP (Dell Update package) utility is used to automatically update all supported tape devices at once with minimum user interaction.

Fixes & Enhancements

1. Addresses condition which can lead to a stuck tape scenario when the eject button is pressed in certain unusual sequences.
2. Prevents the EEROM from being reset when a high number of spurious power glitches occur.

3. Adds support for Tape Alert Flags 20 and 21.
4. Uses the tach sensor more efficiently to extend its life.

Install Instructions - External:
Hard Drive Installation (via WinZip) with HTML Pop-Up Window

1.Click Download Now, to download the file.
2.When the File Download window appears, click Save this program to
disk (Windows XP users, click Save) and click OK. The Save In: window
3.From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to
select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
4.If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file
name icon appears on your desktop.

2.Click OK or Continue.
The Self-Extracting Driver Installation window appears and prompts to
extract files to C:\DELL\DRIVERS
