The User's Guide for the UPS Firmware Upgrade Tool are part of this download. The User's Guide is printed in 9 langauges. The UPS Upgrade Tool is installed on the system regradless of whether the system is connected to the UPS by USB or a network connection.
The batch file, Dell_launch_upgrade_tool.bat, is run (as administrator) if the upgrade is being made using a USB connection. There is no need to run the batch file if upgrading by a network connection. When upgrading the UPS firmware over the network start the UPS Firmware Upgrade Tool directly.
