Important Information

To determine if your PowerEdge SP 5xx-2 or PowerEdge XE 5xx-2 system has either the Mach32 or Mach64 video chipset, perform the following procedure:

1) At a time that is convenient, down the server operating system and reboot the server.
2) Watch the system monitor while the server runs POST (power on self test)
3) If the message "ATI MACH64, PCI BIOS P/N 113-25404-1010" is displayed, your system has the Mach64 video chipset.
4) If the message "ATI 68800 PCI BIOS B4" is displayed, your system has Mach32 video chipset.
