Important Information

This firmware can only be used with the Toshiba 8x drive mentioned above. Do not attempt to use this firmware flash with any other DVD drive. Doing so may render your drive inoperable.

To update your firmware, run this program. It will create a bootable diskette. Restart your computer with the diskette in the floppy drive and the DVD drive installed in your system. The program will update your drive's firmware and then ask to reboot your system. After you reboot, your firmware will be upgraded to revision 1009.
